It's a feeling of stability and being whole again that Dorian's missed so much that the relief of it washes over him anew every time they wake up together. So by the time he's stretching out and relaxing against Toby's side in the bath, Dorian's in a state of contentment that he's ready to indulge in for as long as they can.
